This year, our students brought the event to life through a vibrant showcase of Japanese culture — from songs and dances to an engaging skit, each performance reflecting the enthusiasm, creativity and hard work of our learners.

But the performances were only part of the experience. The real magic was in seeing classmates, friends and peers come together, cheer each other on, discover something new about Japan, and simply have a great time together.

For our students, it was a chance to experience the cultural richness of Japan beyond textbooks and language lessons, through music, performance, stories and shared experiences.

Hirameki Day gives our students that opportunity — to explore Japan, express themselves creatively and create memories with the people they are learning alongside.

From the excitement backstage to the energy in the audience, Hirameki Day 2026 was a celebration of Japanese culture, student talent and the wonderful community we are building at Hirameki.
